Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA) 27-11 Lynchburg, VA (Ridge Riders) was honored to team with Blue Ridge Harleys Owner Group (HOG) Lynchburg and Harley Davidson of Lynchburg again this year for our annual “Collection Box” drive to collect personal items needed by the hospitalized veterans at the Salem VA hospital. From our efforts this year, with very generous support from Gleaning for the World, Concord, VA and many other corporations and individuals too numerous to mention, we were able to provide the hospitalized veterans with over $30,000.00 worth of personal items (clothing, personal hygiene supplies, gift cards, snacks, etc), making this year’s drive the best ever! As Veterans and with the mission of ‘Vets Helping Vets” we are truly blessed to be in a community such as the greater Lynchburg area that provides so much support for veterans. To all who contributed to this success story…..THANK YOU….you have touched many lives in a very positive way!Items Collected and Donated to the VA Hospital in Salem in 2023
