Friday - Support the Troops Rally and Meet and Greet12PM-1PM: Support the Troops RallyMonument Terrace 313 9th St, Lynchburg, VA 24504
6PM-8PM: Meet and GreetRestaurants and Businesses of Wyndhurst Choose from among several restaurants and businesses that are within walking distance of each other. Socialize with CVMA members as you explore the many offerings in this neighborhood. 1507 Enterprise Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502 Beer 88 Upper Crust Pizza Scoreboards Sports Grill TY Thai Cuisine The Muse Coffee Company Old Oak Tobacco Outpost - Cigar Shop and Smoking Lounge and more.... All of these locations are within short walking distance of each other and are excited to welcome CVMA members. Ample parking available behind any of the businesses above.
Saturday - Ride to the National D-Day Memorial NOTE: The rally is open to the public but the ride to the memorial is a CVMA Members-Only ride. Registration for the ride is not open to the public. Registration: There is a small fee to participate in the group ride (covers the entrance fee to the D-Day Memorial). Register for the group ride here. Registration is only for the group ride. There is no need to register to attend the Region II Rally unless you are participating in the ride. 8:30AM - 10:00AM - Staging at American Legion Post 16 - 1301 Greenview Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502 9:30AM - Ride briefing begins Prior to KSU, the Mayor will speak and CVMA chaplains will be performing bike blessings KSU 10:00AM - Police escorted ride to the National D-Day Memorial D-Day Memorial Ceremony: There will be a brief CVMA wreath laying ceremony while at the memorial. Return route: After allowing for time to visit the memorial, there will be a more scenic and motorcycle friendly "spirited" group ride from the memorial to Lynchburg Harley Davidson (return route shown below). Lunch: During the return route, we will stop for lunch (no additional cost but donations appreciated,) at the American Legion Post 126 in Buena Vista. ***Note: Please ensure you have adequate fuel prior to the ride. Round trip mileage is 95 miles. There are fuel options near the lunch stop if needed (approximately 55 miles from the start location).
6PM: After Party1257 Burnbridge Rd, Forest VA 24551 - CVMA Region II Rep, along with other CVMA guests will speak - Music, Food options, craft beer, games, and more - The Backyard is just a short walk away to find several food trucks with a variety of sandwiches, tacos, snacks, and desserts. - Card swipe for attendance credit will be conducted
